Setting the order of fields
In the "contacts" panel, I display "all fields". You can change the order in the group "additional fields" but after displaying the data in the "contact" view, the fields are not always displayed in the order that I set in the "all fields" view. What to do? With respect, vit vigryn.

Re: Setting the order of fields
Hello,
this is by design. There is no way to change order of fields in "Contact" view currently.

Good day. Thank you for your answer. Now I know that this is not a mistake. Respectfully wigryn.

Thanks for the clarification. I've wondered about this for some time. Any plans to add a Contact view "change order" feature in the future?Max wrote: Thu Oct 04, 2018 9:18 pm Hello,

Re: Setting the order of fields
We may consider that in the future, yes, however, technical implementation of it is quite challenging.CHB wrote: Sat Jan 12, 2019 4:25 amThanks for the clarification. Re: Setting the order of fields in the Additional Fields Group
Ok, thanks. I'm working on the issue again this morning. Unfortunately, I find the random order of the items in the "Additional Fields" group to be quite distracting. Given your explanation, I am trying to determine a workaround. I thought perhaps I could simply "X" out the items to hide them (with the goal of eliminating the clutter). However, it appears that X-ing out an item from the group actually deletes the data from the data base. Am I understanding this correctly?
It also appears that editing a field under the "All Fields" tab causes that field to re-appear in the Additional Fields group even after it has been X'ed out. Again not an ideal situation.
Perhaps an explanation of how the "Additional Fields" group works by design would help.
Bottom line: If there's no way to change the order of these items, I would be satisfied with hiding them to eliminate the distraction. I'm really just looking for any feasible way to hide the random appearance of the items in the group. Thank you.
