Start and Due Date and its implications and variants

I have started implementing TRO (Total, Relaxed Organization, by Priacta) in EPIM.
For a task TRO uses Start- and Due-Date and Deadline, the latter written in "Task name", like: Task name (deadline) / next step of task.
(TRO is picky with its nomenclature: Every task consisting of more than one little step is called a project, but the name rule remains the same.)

In TRO every task has at minimum a (you may) start date (easily defined in a task template in EPIM). The optional due date defines the last possible start of a task, the deadline is the definite end date.

2 problems:
1. If a recurrent task only has a due date (like all my old, recurrent tasks) and I remove the due date and click on begin date, the recurrency will be lost. I consider this a bug. If I first add a checkmark on "begin" and then remove it on "due", the recurrency will be preserved.

2. If a task has a start date and a due date and I change the start date (e. g. +2 days), the due date will also change (+ 2 dd). I consider this a possible solution, which only makes no sense with TRO (and perhaps other systems). Is it possible to add an option so that when changing the start date, the due date will remain constant? If the task list is ordered by begin date (my default for TRO), and the due date is left behind, the task will turn red, which is nice.

Regarding the first issue- can you please make a few screenshots, demonstrating the issue? I was not able to reproduce the issue.

Max, for No 1 a step by step guide for EPIM 8.14:
1. Make a new task (separate task window), set recurrency and due date (no begin date! You may start with "no template"). Close the task window.
2. Open the task, remove the checkmark at due date - recurrency checkmark will also disappear (recurrency is gone)
3. Checkmark "start": recurrency won`t come back.
(In options is activated: ""Set time to none when enabling Start or Due dates")

Recurrence requires start or end date. When you have both missing, recurrence is set off. If do not want to save changes, click "Cancel"

"Recurrence requires start or end date." That`s right. But this should not keep EPIM from remembering its last recurrency data. At the moment one has to click "cancel" after removing both dates (start or end) in error, than open the task again. That`s too complex for a normal user. If she removes the checkmark at due date, only then checkmarking the begin date, the old recurrency data should come up again. Many programs work this way for helping the user (and this is what a software should do, helping).
