[FIXED] Contact Sync hangs on "Batch storing contacts..."

Yes, I can access the developer options. I don't have decent video capability though. If you can describe what you're looking for, I can tell you whether it happens or what transpires.

I just tried running the month widget again: restoring home page *occasionally* takes 2 seconds. Mostly what happens, very repeatedly, is that you'll swipe your finger to change home page, nothing happens, you pause briefly, then the page changes. There is a distinct delay both in changing home pages, and in displaying the home page from the close of an application. That delay varies.

v3.0.3-preview seems to have fixed the contacts sync problem for me. works on both 4.1.2 and 4.4.2 for me. First batch one-way sync missed 2 contacts out 444, but follow-up sync quickly fixed what was missed in the batch sync.

Added / Changed Contacts get not synced to Phone - even with Sync data cleared - after such an exception with the next (successfull) resync. They have to be edited again.

I was having the SYNC problem with contacts also.

I downloaded and installed 3.0.2.

This SOLVED the Sync problem with CONTACTS,
but NOW it hangs syncing EVENTS/CALENDAR.

Better, but no cigar.

Addendum - the CONTACT synch "works", but uploads the wrong data...
One of the people I have in ePim as "Starred in Android" does NOT
appear in my "Favorites" list... Looks like there's more work to do.

Ron, you should probably wait a bit and let the calendar sync to finish. If you have lots of appointments, the first sync could take up some noticeable amount of time.
With regards to the "Favourites" list - did it work before?

- Uninstall EssentialPim on Android
- Install EssentialPim 3.0.3 pre2 (see above)
- Sync: Success
- Edit a contact in Windows Client
- Sync: Access Violation

Bad news: Same effect with EssentialPIM for Android 3.0.4 (free)
Good(?) news: This (the Access violation) bug is a reproducable and definitely a completly different bug concerning Contact entries (on Android) "containing information from several accounts" I'll open up another Thread describing this in detail.
