days of the week in french translation

Post by rider »

In the french translation the days of the week are never translated ( calender bottom right or any calender views) ????

I love EPIM even in anglo-french but it would be nice to have french days at first glance.

Just set Windows regional settings to French.

I have been using Windows since version 1.0 and have always found the regional settings to French(Canada) to be a mix blessing and so far I have always choosen the English (US or Canada) settings because they are the standards in North America.

Beeing bilingual and working in Montreal, I mostly use the english version of softwares and half of my work is done in english. Using the French regional settings converts the days of the week to french but it also puts the dollar sign to the end of numbers (200.00$) and reverse the dates (2006.02.20) and a few other unwanted conversions and unpredictable effects in some english softwares...

I guess I will have to use live with the english settings or try to experiment with the customizing options of the french settings.

Thank's

No problem. You can surely customize the French settings and set all these conversions like they should be. Might take some time, though..
