Re: Suggestions for Improvements
This was in regards to the calendar templates. Several users had suggestions but mine is the ability to add or remove categories from templates. Even the ability to see which categories are in templates that I created would be helpful - I often have several.
Thank you for the productive discussion. Looks like the time to extend Template feature has come. We will see what can be done in some next major version updates.
I hope this is still on the improvements list. I sometimes need to add or remove categories from templates - this is extremely awkward and time-consuming. Epim's UI continues to evolve and improve but I feel that calendar filtering has not kept pace with other features.

Re: Suggestions for Improvements
Only just noticed that editing templates for tasks/appointments became so easy as of EPIM 9.8.
The template name is preserved when clicking on 'Save As'.
The EPIM Team, thank you, thank you, thank you for this.

Re: Suggestions for Improvements
Here's a suggestion and the programming is QUITE easy.
I run with 3 Calendars on my home PC. . . one I'll call 'Universal.' every appt I have is in this one. The 2nd is business/work. I DO NOT want to share this with anyone nor do I want anyone to easily access this calendar. 3rd is my wife's. She keeps hers separate.
What I would like is a TAB BAR in EPIM with the ability to have each Calendar on one tab so I can change calendars quickly. Yeah, yeah, I know . . . File>Open. But, since the programming is easy, add it to the list.

Something like that is in the plans already, thanks!

Re: Suggestions for Improvements
I would like to propose a real multi-calendar solution. Where you can synchronise the appointments individually via Caldav to the corresponding server. The appointments are displayed in different windows (TAB) to detect collisions. These appointments should also be able to be changed, newly created or deleted. But now the most important thing, all appointments should be able to be synchronised again via Caldav, strictly separated from each other to their original calendars. So no more appointment stew, as has been the case until now. That would be really great and would finally make Outlook replaceable by EPIM.

This is already in the plans and will be implemented in the future versions. Thanks.

Re: Suggestions for Improvements
Very nice to hear. Allow me to ask another question, since the topic has been current in the forum since 2006, in what time horizon will it be realised?

Re: Suggestions for Improvements
In the very nearest one. Not in the upcoming new 9.9 version, though. I think within 3-4 months.

Hello
I really don't want to be disgusting. But this problem of calendar stew prevents me from really using EPIM. EPIM is a real alternative to Outlook and other so-called PIMs. Please do not forget!
Greetings

Hi!
How is going the Multi-Calendar feature?
I'm waiting for that feature, so i can have on the same view multi-calendars just like we have multi-categories, from different systems...
Example: one from google sync, and another from nextcloud.
Thanks
