Same emails endlessly reappearing

For the past few days, I've been experiencing the following problem:

Multiple copies of emails are (apparently) retrieved from mail servers. The emails appear again and again, no matter how often I delete them. The emails are identical. with the same time stamp.

The only way that I've found to stop them appearing endlessly is to delete (or read) them directly from the online mailbox of my provider.

In case you're wondering, there is always only one copy of each email on the server.

The same issue is occurring with 3 different email addresses on 3 different servers, but all from the same provider. It does not occur with my gmail account.

The weirdest thing is that many new copies appear even when EPIM isn't supposed to be retrieving email. I reduced the retrieval frequency to every 60 minutes, but new copies appear every few minutes in any case!

The provider is unable to help and sees no unusual activity on the server logs for these accounts.

Is that in EPIM 9.8? And I assume that's for an IMAP-type of mail account? If so, please forward us a log file so that we could have a look at what's happening behind the scenes. You can find the logs here: Tools->Options->Synchronization, Browse... Thanks!

Yes. it's for IMAP accounts on EPIM 9.8
I'm guessing you need the log files with names that start with "Mail_"
The "Mail" log files I see are dated 12 May. There is also one dated 13 May, but it has 0 bytes.
Where should I send the log file(s) to?

After typing my last message, the log file dated 13 May has disappeared, and there is now one dated 14 May, which is a .log file.
The two logs from 12 May are both .zip files.

My email couldn't be delivered to that address.
The error message that I got says "SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<XXX@XXX.com> SIZE=23095699:
552 sorry, that message size exceeds my databytes limit (#5.3.4)"
The three log files are a total of 16MB. The largest is 14MB alone.
