block cut/copy & paste lose formatting

essentialpim pro 5.8 7

when i try to cut/copy block of formatted text, after paste to new location it loses all original formatting (list, color, size etc)

also new version becoming more sluggish (e.g delay in typing). old issues become new issues. is there anyway i can use back older version?
