Hi, I updated to Windows 11 today and EssentialPIM Pro stopped working. The calendar loads, but I am unable to create appointments, or edit existing ones. I have reinstalled v10.0.02 and I am a licensed user. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Regards, rjs.

Is there any error message? If so, please post a screenshot of it.

Also can you give us some more information of your system set-up?
Are you using EPIM Desktop or EPIM Portable?
Where are the EPIM databases located? On the C-drive, D-drive or . . .?

I use Windows 11 and have EPIM 10 Portable and there are no problems.
But have had problems with user rights/permissions on the C-drive in other programs.
Since EPIM for me is located on the D-drive it works without any problem.

EPIM calendar is critical to my workflow, so I resolved the matter by rolling back to Windows 10

For the record, there were no error messages, I am using EPIM Desktop and the database is on C:. I amended the security settings for the EPIM folder which improved the functionality, but it was still not usable. Also, I had problems with two other applications.

Thank you for your advice.

Informational:

I upgraded to Windows 11 and within a couple of weeks my PC became unusable. It would take up to 15 minutes to reboot and trying to do anything in any app took 2 or 3 minutes for the system to respond. This wasn't specific to EPIM, but affected my PC overall. Microsoft supposedly had a patch to fix the poor performance on AMD Ryzen processors like mine, but the patch said it didn't apply when I tried to install it. I ended up going back to Windows 10 and all is well.

Same, had many programs suffering on Windows 11 and reinstalled Win10 after 2 weeks. First time where I would not report problems with software , just assume problems with the OS

When exactly does it appear? Which version you're trying to install a portable or an installable on?

Please try to download and install the following build:
https://www.essentialpim.com/download/t ... Pro101.exe
Will it make any difference?

I see, EssentialPIM will not work on ARM.
