Send/Receive from outbox does not work

Send/Receive from outbox does not work

Sometimes an email does not get sent due to a server or connectivity issue. So the email ends up in the outbox. That's just fine.

However, if I click Send/Receive in the toolbar

nothing happens. In order to get the email to go out, I must open it up and then click the send button in the individual message.

This gets to be a big PIA if there are a bunch of emails that did not go out the first time.

Is this a new issue? known issue? or pilot error?

Please advise...

Is that for an IMAP type of account?
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!

I experienced this as well in my imap account. Would be interesting how to go on?
Everything I mention comes out of my experience. I'm not an expert. Feel free to try anything I suggest ... but always at your own risk.

Yes, my question refers to IMAP accounts.

Do you have the "Send messages immediately" option enabled?
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
