Hello everybody.
This float task problem has occurred three times, usually everything works fine.
It happens that when the task is moved to the next day, its name is replaced by random characters.
I use EPIM Pro 10.2 on Windows 10
I attach the two screenshots. In this case the task has moved smoothly for a week,
not today. Not sure, but I think the start date was selected before the problem.
sorry my english from google translator
Thanks

Re: Float task problem
The problem here is that we don't know how to reproduce this issue. Did you happen to notice any certain steps, maybe?

Re: Float task problem
I guess it is impossible to reproduce it.
I can only say that it has happened three times in several months, the problem does not seem to me related to anything in particular and EPIM did not give any errors.
I just corrected the text and the task went smoothly to the next day.
I will write if I can get more information.
I knew it was impossible to do something with the information I gave, but I think it is useful to report it.
Thank you

Re: Float task problem
Okay, thanks, nevertheless will have a look at what could be causing this.

Now I use EPIM Pro 11.04 and everything works fine.
I tested my database on version 11.1 Beta1 portable and again the float tasks are modified with different characters.
The problem arises when EPIM updates the float task dates.
I used a copy of the database, so no damage.
I attach screenshots.

Re: Float task problem
Maybe you could make a copy of your backup database from EPIM 11.0.4, then open it, delete all data from it except for couple of tasks. Then make another copy of the database, open the second copy with EPIM 11.1 Beta and check if the error is there. If it is, forward us the first copy which hasn't been opened with EPIM 11.1, yet. In this case we will be able to reproduce the fix the problem. Thanks!

Re: Float task problem
The problem has not occurred until now.
However, I noticed that after closing Epim on Windows 10, sometimes two processes "EPIM.exe (32 bit)" remain active
Could this cause problems the next time you reopen the software?
It happens that Epim does not start until I manually stop the two processes.
Thank you

Re: Float task problem
A remaining running process cannot influence integrity of your data, if that's what you were asking.
