Enable Right Side Calendar View To Be Disabled
I have disabled the right side calendar view by unchecking View - Sidebar - Calendar.
However, the window remains as shown.
there is no way I can close it or get rid of it.
Please refer to attached screenshot (Please_Fix.png).
I can drag the middle calendar over to the right to cover that spot, but if I do that and save, upon next restart EP, the blank space on the right is back.
The new interface is terrible. At lease give us the option to change it back to the way things were before the change.

Re: Enable Right Side Calendar View To Be Disabled
I had the sam problem as you, but that was in the R1 version. In the final version this was repaired.

Re: Enable Right Side Calendar View To Be Disabled
So far I did not experience this problem. I just checked the portable PRO en Free version and on my system (EPIM 11.0.1 and Windows 11 pro) it works as expected. If I disable the tasks and calendar the sidebar disappears.
Have you tried this on a new database? Does the problem then occur too?
If yes can you give information on the screen resolution, maybe EPIM has a problem with those settings.
As a8907433 mentions there were more reports of this problem, but most of them have been solved in the final version of 11.0 and improved futher for some screens in 11.0.1

We're unable to reproduce the problem. Please record a short video, demonstrating it. Maybe we're all missing something..

Re: Enable Right Side Calendar View To Be Disabled
Thanks for the info, screen resolution and DPI should be oke. But I miss tasks in the agenda print-screen.
I guess your EssentialPIM version isn't working properly.
You can try installing it in a new folder, I guess it will work than.
If I look at your EPIM11 print-screen I miss the option for TASKS.
Another option you can try is rename the EPIM.INI file in the EssentialPIM Free folder.
Often these problems occur because that file has become corrupt for some reason.

Re: Enable Right Side Calendar View To Be Disabled
Tasks are not shown as the module is disabled in settings for jimbeam23c.

Re: Enable Right Side Calendar View To Be Disabled
Than that is the problem.
I missed the fact that the tasks module is disabled.
When I first have both options enabled (that is default as far as I know) and then disable the tasks module I see the same problem as Jimbeam23c reports. The sidebar remains on screen after disabling the Calendar setting.
With the tasks module disabled the sidebar should not check the tasks setting.
For Jimbeam the solution is to temporary enable the TASKS module in the options.
Then disable in all modules in the sidebar the Tasks
and finally he can disable the tasks module in options again.
This problem occurs in the PRO and FREE version.
