categories can't be unhidden

Post by kdgdr »

Hi,

In AEPIM 6.0.5 calendar, categories that are set to hidden cannot be set to unhidden.

Unable to reproduce this. Are you using the Filter Categories option?

Hi,
Detailed description to help you reproduce:

A) I have a lot of tasks that are asigned to one category. Each of the tasks has a start and end date/time, and is set to be shown in calendar. Thus, in calendar view I can make all of these tasks visible or unvisible, just by checking or unchecking this category in the calendar 's filter by category feature. At least, that was how it worked before 6.0.5. But since 6.0.5 this is what happens:

B) In calendar view I don't see the tasks that are in the category mentioned above. This is because the category mentioned above is unchecked in the calendar 's filter by category:

C) I now want to see these tasks in calendar so, while still in the calendar 's filter by category, I check the category mentioned above and I tap OK:

D) This brings me back in the calendar view, but I still don't see the tasks that I am now expecting to see. I go back to the calendar 's filter by category and find that the category mentioned above is still unchecked - as if AEPIM 6.0.5 didn't remember that I checked the category in step C:

Hope this helps.
It's a rather important issue IMHO, so I'm hoping for an urgent fix.

I have this issue in
  • AEPIM 6.0.5 on Android 8.1.0 (Motorola Moto G5 Plus)
  • AEPIM 6.0.5 on Android 12 - One UI 4.1 (Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G)
