User suggestions

Post by daho2018 »

Hi,

due to an answer within another entry I have the question how the EPIM team decides to implement user suggestions, are there certain criteria that have to be fulfilled?

I know it from a software project, which unfortunately no longer exists, which was solved relatively charmingly:
- User submits a suggestion
- Other users have the possibility to vote on it
- If there were a certain number of votes, the technical possibility or the proposal was checked by the developers.
- If everything was in the green, it was implemented, otherwise it was left as a suggestion.

Greetings

There's more to that. We also need to take into account effort and resources needed for a feature implementation and its possible impact on the user base, for instance.

Right, but I was referring more to what the user notices. Of course, topics like resources, costs/benefits, technical practicability are all points that run in the background.

In general yes, the more traction a suggestion gets, the more chances there's for its implementation in the foreseeable future.
