Following Aurio's reply I tested and same happens to me now:
* You create an appointment same day start and stop and ePIM saves over 2 days.
* You go in to make a change to an existing and ePIM saves over 2 days and then auto opens a new appointment window.
* In all cases when you correct the double day ePIM saves correctly.

UPDATE: Please redownload EPIM from the link provided in this post: viewtopic.php?p=133360#p133360. The issue has been fixed in this build.

In my instance, the newest build of 11.8.3, after the first synchronization, which seemed to have the same errors, it has since worked perfectly. I attribute the first errant synchronization as just cleaning up incorrect data from the previous build that didn't work right. So to my thinking the problem is totally fixed. Thank you for solving the problem, and then quickly updating whatever the hiccup was yesterday.

Admin, following your update comment above I re-downloaded the link supplied in the previous post but am still experiencing the appointment over 2 days error.

I think he meant the next version like 11.8.4

Loopy, we would appreciate it if you could create a short video demonstrating the issue and attach it to your next post. We have been unable to reproduce the issue you reported, although we may be doing something differently.

I took a look at the AndroidSync log files I sent you and I see that they contain plaintext data that I entered into EPim.

So if there are files on the PC with data that are always accessible, it becomes quite useless to encrypt the database with a password.

or am I wrong?

However I am back to 11.8.2 and have no problems. For now I'll stay there.

So much for EPIM's much-vaunted data protection. If the encryption of the database works in the same way, I can publish my data on social media right away. For me, this is not a careless mistake but at least gross negligence.

I've been using EPIM Pro Business Net for about 3 weeks, 11.8.2 and now 11.8.3. In the log directory I only have 3 ZIP files in each category. For example, “EPIMServerSync_XXX”, “Mail_XXX”, “Backup_XXX” or “OutlookComSync_XXX”. These rotate after each action, I synchronize an Outlook.de calendar every minute, so the oldest file is 3 minutes old.

ERROR logs appear to remain longer.
I also searched for terms in the logs, but didn't find anything here I used today.

In any case, it should be explained here how this could have happened and whether something was changed in the log handling!
Data protection and privacy is top priority!

PS: I don't use a Mobile Version, maybe the problem only occurs here?

I think the discussion becomes interesting. Those of you who know English well (unfortunately I have to use an automatic translator) could open a new thread on this topic to have more visibility and know the opinion of other users. Here the title is different and many users don't open it.

I downloaded and reinstalled 11.8.3, and am still having the same issue.

Every time I sync, I'm prompted with the same (three) dialogs.

littlebigman, the fix only applies to the Pro version of EPIM so far.

For those who are worried about the log files, click on Tools->Options->Synchronization and disable the "Enable logging" feature.

Hi Admin,

the sync is working again, but I also get the conflict messages how littlebigman, again and again... and I have the Pro version.

I confirm that since I returned to 11.8.2 everything works perfectly without problems. Android synchronization included.
