Lost deletd items FOLDER!!!!

Post by a8907433 »

HELP!!!

I have two account, one imap and one POP3, different providers.
I worked in POP3: cut many emails (999) and paste is into an other folder. after that, I saw that I had correct the 999 mails in the folder wehre I want it, and..... 999 mails in deleted items. So I emptied trash.

After that i noticed THAT "DELETED ITEMS"-folder on my imap account is gone! How can that be, how do I get my deleted items folder again?
In the browser on my Imap account there is a "Papierkorb" (deleted items) folder.

In the folder above the Inbox (the imap account folder) there I can see my deleted items. But where IS my deleted items folder? And how can I empty deleted items?

Click on the Manage Folders button in the main toolbar and ensure that the Deleted Items folder is visible. Thanks.

Odd that the Mail Module page occupied 75-80% of my screen yet I couldn't see Manage Folders.
Something made me "stretch" the page 1 inch more to the left and there it was next to the Search Box. FYI to other amateurs.....

In the "How did I manage" category MY Hotmail Acct folder shows that (in addition to Deleted Items) something Created a TRASH Folder (I'm IMAP) as a sub-folder of the Inbox and a 2nd Trash down my Folder list. UN-chking them made them "not visible" - SO - there are Unusual things that can happen that may not be explained.
