**** is not a valid integer value

Post by poet-man »

Using build 1032 and letting EPIM have a look for availability of a new version, produces the above message.

Which update channel are you on? How do you check for new versions? Also, could you please attach a screenshot of the error message?

I check by help menu -> check for updates
The error message is exactly as written in subject line (notebook not available for screenshot right now)

Moreover I sometimes geht the message you see in screenshot attached.

EDIT:
Download/install from web-site led to build 1033. There, the above errors donot seem to come up anymore.

Confirmed on both accounts. I had the same error with build 1032 but checking for updates with build 1033 works.

Since I use 1033, the prob didnot come up anymore. So we have 1133 now?

Ah I see. When did you download build 1033? I downloaded it from epim homepage!

from another older installation of EPIM I see that 12.1.4 build 1034 is available and it seems not to have the problem anymore.
Now I just have to wait for it to be available for download on the site, since it is not possible to use the update function.

I solved it with a downgrade by installing the previous version 12.0 - then the update worked and downloaded 12.1.4. At the moment the problem has not occurred again :D

I have the error with version 12.1.3 (Build 1033, Lifetime) when I go to 'check for updates' (message: '... is not a valid integer value'). To update to 12.1.4, can I simply download the trial version from the website and install it over version 12.1.3?
