Unwanted License.dat file

For the past few days, whenever I import an ICS file into EPIM, a "license.dat" file with garbled content is created. It appears on my desktop and contains something like this:

I'm using EPIM Free 12.1.3.

How can I get rid of this bug?

Please redownload and reinstall version 12.1.3 from our website. Alternatively, you can switch to the Beta update channel in EssentialPIM’s Options and check for updates. Either way, you should end up with build 1033, which resolves the issue.
