New Suggestion for colours !!! This would be great!

Hi!
i have some uggestionst, so lets start:

1st: In weekly+monthly-view:special colors for the weekend would improve navigation (like in the "year-view")

2nd: In the "year-view" it would be nice to change between the years,too(not only between months).so, two more arrow-buttens next to the "Change-month-buttons" would be a great solution!

3rd: In "year-view" somtimes the icon changes from the coloured rectangle to a "flat"rectangle with a little arrow inside (see attachment:3r.gif). Why? Sometimes this happens when there are many entries at one day,sometimes not. When the "all-day-event"checkbox is ticked in some cases the coloured rectangle appears correct, and sometimes not. Is this a bug?

4th: separate changing of the Background colors for workdays and Weekend-days would improve navigation,too.

Thats it. no other changes needed

I would love to have a black background with white text. I know it would remove a lot of the color scheme but I find the display too bright and would really appreciate that option. I have had PIM for years and that brightness has always been an eyesore.

I agree colors would be nice to see clearly the week-ends on the different calendars (weekly/monthly/yearly). Also, making different skins of different colors, including black, would be nice too. Many applications have skins to change their looks and colors, to suit different taste, and I'm surprise Essential PIM doesn't have it. I personally have a preference for black or dark skins too, and I like it when the background is black and the text is white.

+1 This would immensely improve schedule planning. For instance, I heavily use the week view, set at 10 days visible. It's cluttered with activities for all visible days. The only real flag for a weekend day it the day's title text in red - that just doesn't stand out. However, if the entire weekend day was in a user choice shade, well, a major improvement in the ease of visual planning!
