I´ve got three EssentialPim Pro licenses 3.01 that I´ve updated from 2.81.
Two are installed on Win Xp Pro Computers (notebooks) and I´m very happy with the program and the new features.
Sometimes even small things make me happy f.e. "€" sign is working again with the keyboard which was a problem with 2.81 and versions before.

The third computer is a Win 2000 Prof SP3 computer and I keep getting access violations after installing.
- On this computer the old 2.81 Essentil Pim Pro portable worked without problem
- 3.01 Essential Pim Pro Portable gives error messages: Access violation of address 00000000 Read Adress 00000000
- Same Problem with 3.01 Essential Pim Portable Free
- I even tried to install 3.01 Essential Pim Pro (desktop) and again received Access violations

I tried to install on another Win 2000 SP3 computer just to make sure that the selected computer is not the
problem but with same results.

So my question: Is EssentiallPim 3.01 supposed to run on Win 2000 machines like 2.81 version did?
I remember with earlier versions there have been problems with Windows 2000 and working with sticky notes
but I am completely not using this feature any more. Now I cannot even install 3.01 on a Windows 2000 machine without Access violations.

Windows 2000 is not a supported system anymore. If you need we can refund your upgrade and help convert database back to 2.81

EPIM makes automatic backups, so you might have one. If you have Free, search for *.epim files. If you have Pro, search *.epim.bak files.
If you do not find any, send your database to ma@essentialpim... with a link to this topic please! - will downgrade it into 2.81 for you.

OK, there turned out to be a few users who use Windows 2000, so we looked into the issue and fixed it. Now 3.02 should run on Windows 2000. We will release a new version this week that should work. Stay tuned.

Today I downloaded the revised version 3.02.
IT WORKS WITH WINDOWS 2000.

this is to confirm, today we rolled out a silent update, which allows EPIM 3 to run on Windows 2000. Version number is the same 3.02, please re-download from www.essentialpim.com

Thank you for your explanation that the bug correction was a silent update.
After redownloading EssentialPim 3.02 Pro I can confirm that it now works on Windows 2000
