The Contacts module can be displayed in different views, which can be switched in the main menu under View -> Layout.
Vertical View (People)
This view provides an extended layout with easy access to all necessary contact information. Avatars or initials icons make identifying contacts easier.
The tool panel at the top of the contacts list features easy filtering and sorting options.
Click the needed options to display contacts containing corresponding data.
Enabling the "pin" icon keeps filtering active when switching between groups.
Horizontal/Vertical Views (Classic)
These views offer compact, classic table layouts.
Table views offer various customization options.
Right-click a column caption to enable or disable the columns you want to display or hide.
Selecting the Customize option opens a dialog where you can set up which columns to display from all available columns.
To rearrange column order, drag fields to the desired position while holding the left mouse button. A small arrow icon shows where the column will be placed when you release the mouse button.
EssentialPIM remembers the column setup for each contact group. If you need to copy the current column setup to another contacts group, right-click the column caption and select the Apply columns to option.
